Group Booking Fee

To ensure a faster, more efficient, and reliable booking service, from 1 July 2026 a booking fee will apply to all prepaid group bookings made by travel agencies and tour operators.

Booking Fee

The booking fee is additional to the admission ticket price and does not affect the standard admission rates.

Payment Terms

The booking fee must be paid together with the admission tickets using the payment link that will be sent by our office via email.

The booking will be considered confirmed only after payment has been received.

Payment must be completed within 5 working days of receiving the payment link, unless otherwise specified.

Terms and Conditions

The booking fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the group.

Admission tickets are refundable only if the cancellation is communicated at least 48 hours before the scheduled date and time of the visit.

General rules for reservations and/or admission prepayments:

1. Reservation for groups is confirmed only with the payment sent through SUMUP's Pay by Link channel or with full prepayment of the guided tour made through SUMUP's Pay by Link at least 5 days in advance.
2. The group can bring the receipt of SUMUP's Pay by Link transaction to attest the reservation.
3. Admission tickets are sold on behalf of the Pontifical Commission for Sacred Archaeology, Vatican City. Only the receipt of purchase will be issued upon delivery of the tickets.
4. Reservations for groups are valid up to 10 minutes after the time fixed in the reservation, the group leader/agency are obliged to communicate any delays at +39. 06.78.50.350, groups outside the booked visiting hours are obliged to rebook at the ticket office.
5. All visitors are obliged to read the following Vatican regulations before the guided tour: www.catacombe.org/it/regulation.html.
6. Group reservations under 35 pax are accumulated with current visitors at the discretion of the ticket office and in compliance with safety regulations on Catacomb visits.

Right of withdrawal, modification or refund:

1. Tickets (including reservation fee) are non-refundable.
2. Groups that do not show up for the prepaid and reserved guided tour are not eligible for a refund.
3. Only groups cancelled within 48 hours prior to the booked tour are entitled to a refund by sending an email to info@catacombe.org.
