Tickets for the Catacombs of San Sebastian in Rome

To visit the Catacombs of San Sebastian, you can reserve your place free of charge and pay for admission when you arrive, or purchase your ticket online in advance.

Official ticket prices for the Catacombs of San Sebastian

Official admission prices for tickets purchased on site are:

full-price ticket: €10;

reduced ticket: €7;

free admission for the categories listed in the regulations.

The price includes admission to the archaeological complex and a guided tour led by the Catacombs of San Sebastian’s own staff.

Reduced admission is available for visitors aged 7 to 16, school groups and the other categories listed in the official regulations.

The “Basilica e Catacombe di San Sebastiano” bus stop is directly outside the entrance.

bus 118 from the Colosseum or Circo Massimo, Metro Line B;

bus 660 from Arco di Travertino, Metro Line A.

Information to read before purchasing

The temperature inside the galleries remains between approximately 16°C and 17°C throughout the year. Visitors are advised to bring a light jacket during the summer.

The route includes approximately 100 steps and is not accessible to wheelchair users.

Clothing appropriate for a sacred site is required. Animals are not allowed inside the catacombs.

Anyone with mobility or respiratory difficulties, or concerns about entering confined underground spaces, should consider the nature of the route before booking or purchasing a ticket.
