Tickets for the Catacombs of San Sebastian in Rome
To visit the Catacombs of San Sebastian, you can reserve your place free of charge and pay for admission when you arrive, or purchase your ticket online in advance.
A guided tour led by the catacombs’ own staff is always included in the admission price. Visitors cannot enter the underground cemetery independently or with an external guide unless authorised catacomb staff are present.

Official ticket prices for the Catacombs of San Sebastian
Official admission prices for tickets purchased on site are:
full-price ticket: €10;
reduced ticket: €7;
free admission for the categories listed in the regulations.
The price includes admission to the archaeological complex and a guided tour led by the Catacombs of San Sebastian’s own staff.
Reduced admission is available for visitors aged 7 to 16, school groups and the other categories listed in the official regulations.
Children up to the age of 6 and other eligible visitors can enter free of charge under the applicable conditions.

Free reservation with payment on arrival
The free reservation option allows you to choose the date, departure time and language of your tour without paying for the ticket in advance.
Payment is made at the Catacombs of San Sebastian ticket office before the tour begins.

The reservation remains valid until 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. After this deadline, the place may be given to another visitor.

Should I reserve and pay on site or buy online?
Both options allow you to reserve a guided tour of the Catacombs of San Sebastian.
Choose the free reservation with payment on site if you prefer to:

pay the official admission price without a booking fee;

Choose the online ticket if you prefer to:
pay before arriving;
receive your electronic voucher immediately;

9:15 am–5:15 pm
The last admission is at 4:45 pm.
The catacombs are closed every Monday. Additional closures apply on certain public holidays and during the annual closing period.

bus 118 from the Colosseum or Circo Massimo, Metro Line B;
bus 660 from Arco di Travertino, Metro Line A.

Information to read before purchasing
The temperature inside the galleries remains between approximately 16°C and 17°C throughout the year. Visitors are advised to bring a light jacket during the summer.
The route includes approximately 100 steps and is not accessible to wheelchair users.
Clothing appropriate for a sacred site is required. Animals are not allowed inside the catacombs.
Anyone with mobility or respiratory difficulties, or concerns about entering confined underground spaces, should consider the nature of the route before booking or purchasing a ticket.
